Controller
About the Role
Roberts Resorts & Communities is a family-owned company that owns and operates manufactured home, RV, and cabin communities across the country. Today we operate 21 communities, and we're growing with a long-term vision to significantly expand our footprint. This role exists to build the financial foundation for our next chapter. Growth creates opportunity and complexity. As our company continues to expand, we need a Controller who can bring order to a fast-moving environment, strengthen our accounting infrastructure, and help build scalable processes without losing the agility that makes our company successful. This isn't a large corporate environment with endless resources and established playbooks—we're entrepreneurial, nimble, and build as we grow.
What You Own
You own the accounting function, including accurate financial reporting, month-end close, multi-entity accounting, internal controls, cash visibility, and building accounting processes that support a growing business. You'll also lead an experienced accounting team, including accountants, accounts payable, and treasury professionals, while helping develop future leaders from within. This role partners directly with the CFO, CEO, COO, and executive leadership team to provide financial insight that drives business decisions.

- Building scalable processes that support future growth
- Partnering with operations leaders across multiple communities
- Leveraging technology, automation, AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, and other solutions to improve efficiency
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and increase financial visibility
This is a hands-on leadership role. You lead from the front.
