Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations, creating scalable processes that support growth and day-to-day accuracy.
  • Prepare timely financial statements and management reports, ensuring records are maintained in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal standards.
  • Monitor liquidity needs by developing cash flow projections and providing recommendations to support operational and strategic priorities.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, translating financial data into practical insights for executive decision-making.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls to improve compliance, safeguard assets, and support audit readiness.
  • Manage audit coordination and regulatory reporting requirements, serving as a key point of contact for external partners.
  • Oversee accounts payable activities and related documentation to ensure accurate processing, approval tracking, and record retention.
  • Direct document control and scanning workflows, including the organization and compilation of financial records for easy retrieval and compliance support.
  • Support financial systems implementation and optimization efforts, including work within Acumatica to improve reporting and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Prioritizing experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role with responsibility for core finance operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
  • Demonstrated success with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Experience designing or enhancing internal control frameworks and supporting audit processes.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable oversight and financial document management procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Acumatica or a comparable ERP platform.
  • Ability to organize, scan, compile, and maintain documentation with a high level of accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a CPA certification is preferred. They should also possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
