Controller
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Manage general ledger activity, including reviewing journal entries and maintaining account accuracy.
- Perform and oversee account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and strengthening controls.
- Prepare financial statements and related reports in compliance with US GAAP and internal requirements.
- Cook up budgeting activities, monitor performance against plan, and provide variance analysis to leadership.
- Support the use of SAP for accounting and reporting processes, helping maintain reliable financial data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and support operational decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting or controllership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger management, and journal entry review.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to prepare budgets, analyze results, and explain key financial trends.
- Experience performing reconciliations and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Proficiency with SAP and familiarity with integrated financial systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
