Responsibilities

  • Direct monthly and annual close activities to deliver complete, accurate financial results on schedule.
  • Produce and evaluate financial statements, investigate performance fluctuations, and ensure the general ledger and account structure remain well maintained.
  • Supervise reconciliations, resolve outstanding accounting issues, and strengthen the accuracy of day-to-day financial records.
  • Manage invoicing, revenue recording, and project-related accounting while supporting teams with financial visibility into project performance and margins.
  • Monitor adherence to contract terms, billing requirements, and applicable financial policies across engagements and entities.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support leadership decision-making and operational planning.
  • Drive improvements in workflows, controls, automation, and system setup to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, track key performance indicators, and provide analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Cook up audits, tax reporting, payroll oversight, treasury activities, and internal control reviews while developing and mentoring the accounting team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPA credential or strong progress toward certification is highly preferred.
  • At least 10 years of increasing responsibility in accounting or finance, including experience leading teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, and external audit support.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements in multi-entity or multi-location operations.
  • Experience with project-based accounting, including revenue recognition, profitability analysis, and utilization or performance tracking.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with reporting or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications
