What You’ll Do

• Execute and manage the monthly close process from start to finish, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash management, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead and execute the organization of workflows
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Manage multi-entity accounting including intercompany activity and eliminations
• Play a key role in strengthening internal controls, supporting audit readiness, and partnering with leadership to ensure timely and reliable financial information

Qualifications

• At least seven years of hands-on accounting experience and a proven ability to independently run a clean and timely close
• A strong foundation in GAAP, with nonprofit experience considered a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and naturally process-minded, with the ability to operate effectively in an evolving and sustainable environment
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is helpful, along with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis
• Bachelor’s in accounting or related field is required
• CPA (or strong path towards it) preferred
