Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
Coinciding and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
Coinciding the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Collaborating with the management team to understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
Proficiency with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
An ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
