Salary: $105,000 - $140,000 per year

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the Accounting + Finance industry, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of monthly reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections for management and the board.
• Ensure the accuracy of our general ledger (GL) and all financial statements.
• Manage the use of CDK Software in our financial operations.
• Implement and manage bonus plans to incentivize high performance among our staff.
• Oversee the financial operations of two rooftops, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Work with the Reynolds and Reynolds system to manage dealership operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations, improve financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive the company's vision and business objectives.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyze financial data to inform decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CPA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
• Proven experience with monthly reporting, preparing financial statements, managing GL and financials.
• Proficiency in CDK Software and Reynolds and Reynolds system.
• Demonstrable experience with bonus plans and overseeing multiple business units or rooftops.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear, concise terms.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
