About the role
The Controller is responsible for supervising all staff in the Accounting and Reimbursement Departments. This position has the ultimate responsibility to ensure that all Accounting Policy Guides are being followed and that all financial related reporting deadlines are met. The Controller coordinates the annual external audit and all internal audit inquiries, reviews and refines systems to ensure proper accounting controls exist, and ensures discrepancies are resolved timely and payment calculators are accurate.
The Controller oversees the preparation of net revenue, cost accounting, and other reimbursement-related reports as requested, and is responsible for overseeing the annual budget preparation and the monthly closing process. The Controller also assists the CFO on special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; post-graduate degree preferred
- CPA preferred
- Accounting experience in a healthcare setting or industry is highly preferred
