Controller

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the financial operations of Client Opportunities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP. They will also manage the company’s accounting systems and ensure accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
• Manage accounting systems and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with financial software and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
