Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations and monthly close process
• Prepare and review account reconciliations
• Aid with financial reporting and financial statement preparation
• Participate in budgeting and department budget reviews
• Manage grant and restricted fund accounting
• Work closely with leadership on financial planning and analysis
• Supervise two accounting team members
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments across the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Nonprofit and/or education industry experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with grants, restricted funds, or endowments plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Process improvement and automation experience desirable
• Exposure to Blackbaud, Veracross, or similar platforms plus

Pay

$95,000–$115,000 base salary
