Controller Opportunity

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000

Key Responsibilities Of The Controller

• Lead the accounting function and serve as a key financial partner to operational leadership
• Play a significant role in the implementation of new business systems
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, providing meaningful financial insights to leadership
• Manage and enhance WIP reporting to ensure accurate project financial visibility
• Partner closely with project managers to review costs, profitability, and overall project performance
• Act as the primary financial liaison between accounting, operations, service, and project teams
• Develop financial reporting that helps leaders make informed business decisions
• Maintain financial performance trends and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support month-end and year-end close activities while maintaining strong internal controls

Requirements For The Controller

• Construction, mechanical contracting, or project-based industry experience is required
• Bachelors degree in Accounting with prior Controller experience or experience in a senior accounting leadership role
• Experience participating in or leading ERP/software implementations
