Responsibilities

• Oversight of the full spectrum of accounting operations
• Financial insight to drive strategic decision-making
• Leading month-end and year-end close processes
• Delivering accurate financial reporting
• Forecasting results
• Managing treasury functions
• Evaluating and strengthening accounting processes
• Overseeing internal controls and audit procedures
• Supporting tax compliance efforts
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Mentoring and developing a talent accounting team
• Fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
• Working closely with executive leadership on key business initiatives, acquisitions, and long-term planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 7+ years of leadership responsibility within accounting
• Experience with ERP systems
• CPA certification strongly preferred

Qualifications

The strongest candidates will bring excellent communication skills, sharp analytical instincts, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience with internal control design and audit processes will be especially valuable.

$150K - $180K

Schedule

Full-time, fully onsite position in a beautiful Vancouver office. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as business needs dictate.
