About the role

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

The Controller is responsible for the General Accounting portion of the BHS Finance Department. This includes General Ledger reporting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Fixed Asset Accounting. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accuracy of BHS Financial Statements, in particular the expense portion of the Income Statement
• Reviewing all Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Financial reporting to Vanguard
• Supporting financial audits performed on BHS facilities
• Supporting the needs of Senior Management, Regional, and Facility Department Directors
• Completing established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 5 years of Healthcare Accounting Experience (required)
• 3 years of Supervisory experience (required)
• CPA Certificate (preferred)
