About the role

Reporting to the Group Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, the Senior Purchasing Management Controller is responsible for the economic management and performance monitoring of Group purchasing activities. The role focuses on consolidated, cross-functional, and strategic analyses to support Group Management and purchasing teams. You will also provide support to business units, particularly during key operational periods (budgets, collections, forecasts, specific analyses). As a true Business Partner to purchasing and product teams, you will inform decision-making and contribute to aligning product strategy, profitability, and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Steer the commercial performance of purchasing and supply chain at the Group level, in line with financial objectives.
  • Produce and analyze consolidated reports (margins, commitments, OTB, stocks, performance by product families and brands).
  • Analyze variances between budget, forecast, and actual results, identifying key drivers.
  • Ensure the reliability, consistency, and relevance of performance analyses and indicators.
  • Collaborate with IT and operational teams on the evolution of tools, reporting, and analysis methods at the Group level.
  • Provide analytical and commercial expertise to purchasing teams and Management.
  • Challenge collection balances, pricing strategies, and purchasing commitments.
  • Support business units with specific analyses during key periods (budgets, collections, closings, reforecasts).
  • Propose performance levers and flag potential risks.
  • Supervise and mentor a Purchasing Management Controller Assistant.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks based on Group priorities and timelines.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in purchasing management control, ideally in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical, structuring, and synthesis skills at the Group level.
  • Comfortable in a cross-functional business partner role.
  • Autonomy, rigor, strategic mindset, and a collaborative spirit.
