About the Role
Supports automated equipment within a Distribution Center, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, including PLCs, HMIs, motors, sensors, and electrical systems up to 600 volts.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades on materials handling and automated picking systems.
- Maintains records in CMMS/EAM systems.
- Manages spare parts inventory.
- Assesses equipment efficiency for improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years in maintenance or troubleshooting roles.
- Certifications in maintenance or technical operations are advantageous.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and using relevant software (e.g., RSLogix, MS Office).
