Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on control equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level).
- Analyze systems faults and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement and automation projects.
- Read and Interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics.
- Work with maintenance and operations team to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (e.g. OSHA).
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and systems changes.

- Network troubleshooting tools (wireshark, RSLinx)
- FIIX CMMS PM or similar platforms
- Drives & Motion Software
- Data & Diagnosis Tools
- Ignition Tag Historian and report modules
- Trend and diagnostics tools for process analysis
- Additional tools
- Calibration software and handheld communicators (HART, Field Communicator)
- Laptop-based diagnostic and programming tools
Requirement
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or related field is nice to have.
- Manager will look at candidates with additional work experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience working with industrial control systems.
- Strong knowledge of the following:
- PLCs (Allen-Bradley)
- Motor control systems and VFDs
- Industrial networks (ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus)
- Ability to trouble shoot electrical and instrumentation systems
- Familiarity with safety practices such as LOTO and arc flash is nice to have.
- Candidate will be trained on both.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing environments (food & beverage, dairy, or processing plants)
- Strong experience with SCADA platform (development, troubleshooting, and upgrades)
- Understanding of process control loops and PID tuning.
- Ability to work with CMMS systems
