Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and develop all aspects of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems and Distributive Control Systems to ensure the facility operates safely.
- Maintain process-related systems; modify software and hardware to enhance process capabilities.
- Maintain communication between Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and TCPIP-based systems.
- Regularly perform data analysis to better understand process capabilities.
- Train operations and maintenance personnel on relevant components of computer systems.
- Set up, install, and maintain PCs and related software.
- Collaborate with government and regulatory agencies on project activities.
- Be available to support systems during off-hours as needed.
- Maintain the ability to travel to other Arcwood locations up to 10% of the time.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field (required).
Experience
- 3+ years of experience working with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS, and/or SCADA programming applications (required).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Visual Basic Database programming.
- PC/Server networking.
- Instrumentation and industrial control system design.
- ABB Bailey Infi 90 Allen Bradley PLC.
- RCPA and MACT regulations.
- TCP/IP networking and NT experience.
