About the role

Responsibilities
- Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on Control Systems Designing, developing, and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues.
- Consulting with and training end users on new applications.
- Aiding in project development and planning.
- Performing onsite pilots, FAT sing, SAT sing, and demos as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable).
- An equivalent combination of experience and training will also be considered.
- Experience with industrial PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon, etc.).
- Required experience with Rockwell PLCs.
- Control Systems implementation, design, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and electrical installations.
- Acute attention to detail and process.
- Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions.
- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments.

Skills and Experience Needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable).
- Equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered.
- Experience with industrial PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon, etc.).
- Required experience with Rockwell PLCs.
- Control Systems implementation, design, installations, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skillsets
- Rockwell PLCs & HMIs.
- Wonderware / AVEVA GE iFix.
- Ignition.
- Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Conveying/packaging experience.
- Other PLC and/or HMI experience.
- Vision experience (Cognex, Keyence).
- Historian experience.
- Database experience.
- Higher level programming such as C++, C#, Python, etc.
- Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, or packaging experience.
