About the role

The Water Pollution Control Bureau (WPCB) of Arlington County's Department of Environmental Services is seeking a Control System Technician to join our team! The WPCB operates and maintains the County's advanced wastewater treatment facility and Water and Sewer Lift Stations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. This position encompasses multiple levels in a career ladder ranging from Control System Technician I (Trainee) up to Control System Technician II.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair complex industrial instrumentation and control systems for wastewater treatment and lift stations.
• Work alongside instrumentation, maintenance, and operations staff to support control systems and equipment.
• Ensure continuous wastewater treatment operations run smoothly.
