Control Room Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Initiate a response to incidents such as duress calls, power outages, medical emergencies, fire alarms, traveler assistance, employee terminations, inclement weather, terrorist activity, etc.
• Document actions related to incidents involving various high-level managers, security personnel, facility engineers, and potentially law enforcement personnel.
• Supplement core functions with additional project work and tasks as assigned by management.
• Provide security and safety for client property and personnel by observing and reporting activities at an assigned client site.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Previous CCTV, alarm monitoring and dispatching experience
• Data center security experience
• Control room operator experience
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Pass drug screen and background check
• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Pay

$20.00-24.00/hour
