Responsibilities
- Initiate a response to incidents such as duress calls, power outages, medical emergencies, fire alarms, traveler assistance, employee terminations, inclement weather, terrorist activity, etc.
- Document actions taken during incidents involving various high-level managers, security personnel, facility engineers, and potentially law enforcement personnel.
- Supplement core functions with additional project work and tasks as assigned by management.
- Provide security and safety for client property and personnel by observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
Requirements
- Previous CCTV, alarm monitoring and dispatching experience
- Data center security experience
- Control room operator experience
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Pass drug screen and background check
- Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Qualifications
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
