About the role
Control Room Security Officer
Responsibilities
- Initiate a response to incidents such as duress calls, power outages, medical emergencies, fire alarms, traveler assistance, employee terminations, inclement weather, terrorist activity, etc.
- Document actions taken during incidents involving various high-level managers, security personnel, facility engineers, and potentially law enforcement personnel.
- Supplement core functions with additional project work and tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous CCTV, alarm monitoring, and dispatching experience for 2-3 years
- Data center security experience for 2-3 years
- Control room operator experience
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
