Controls Engineer Miami, FL Salary: up to $110,000 + bonus Location: Miami, FL Fully onsite We have partnered with a global automation business looking to hire a Controls Engineer to support an established automated facility in Miami. The role will focus heavily on maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrading existing automation systems, with the site now requiring increased controls support and reliability improvements. What you'll be doing Troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC systemsCarrying out system health checks and identifying recurring faultsSupporting upgrades and modifications to existing automation equipmentTroubleshooting sensors, VFDs, control panels and electrical systemsSupporting HMI/SCADA systems and controls integrationWorking with internal engineers, vendors and system integratorsImproving equipment reliability and reducing downtime What we're looking for 15+ years' Controls/Automation experienceStrong Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC knowledgeHands-on troubleshooting experienceAbility to read electrical schematicsExperience with industrial communication networksMaterial handling, conveyor, warehouse automation or robotics experience would be beneficial This could suit either a junior Controls Engineer looking to develop or an experienced engineer looking for a stable, site-based position with limited travel.
