Position Title: Contracts Specialist Location: Irvine, CA or DC Metro Work Arrangement: On-Site (Hybrid available) Position Summary The Contracts Specialist position is ideal for someone early in their contracting career who is eager to learn federal contracting processes and excited to have an opportunity to expand their core competencies. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fulfilling DZYNE’s mission while working with senior contracts personnel, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and contract requirements. The Contracts Specialist will report to the VP of Contracts and will support internal day-to-day administration of company contract agreements, compliance documents, and databases according to the company policies and procedures, legal requirements, and customer and contract specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work proactively with supervision in a fast-paced environment are essential. They will also serve as a liaison and facilitator between the internal team and stakeholders regarding any contracting issues. Required Duties And Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation, review, and maintenance of contract files, modifications, task orders, and related documentation.Maintaining accurate and organized contract records in accordance with government and company standards.Interacting regularly with contract team members to support and assist in resolving contract issues to ensure contract compliance.Supporting proposal teams by gathering contract data, reviewing solicitation requirements, and preparing administrative sections.Helping to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and internal company policies.Coordinating flow-downs of terms and conditions with all functional departments including contract managers, program management, engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing, as required. Required Skills/Qualifications Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrating strong time management with the ability to coordinate and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with both internal customers.Ability to work productively, both independently and as part of a team, to meet project objectives within designated timelines.Prompt responsiveness to internal and external customer requests.High ethical standards for handling sensitive and confidential information.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Preferred Skills/Qualifications 3-5 years in a business environment. Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field. Clearance Level Required: N/A Travel Required:Less than 10% Working Conditions The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities. This role will primarily be in a general office environment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 10 lbs.Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work. Work Authorization Requirement Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship. Export Control / ITAR Requirement This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations. Salary: $70,000-$95,000 Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
