Contracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinates contract activity with low risk to business unit and agreement complexity, per Corporate and Contracts policy.
• Participates with senior staff in the analysis of contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and Battelle policies.
• Coincides with senior staff in the response to unusual or potential business and contractual performance problems.
• Enters data into the contracting system.
• Reviews and audits data for completeness and accuracy including risk questionnaire, associated proposal documentation, and required proposal review.
• Assists in the development of the general proposal/contracting strategy.
• Contributes to the development of contracting strategies in partnership with internal clients.
• Reviews proposal and contracting data entered in company system(s) for completeness and accuracy.
• Participates with senior staff in the response to unusual or potential business and contractual performance problems.
• Participates in Contract Closeouts, including document closeout, management, and development of reports for department and internal client review.
• Provides support as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.

Pay

Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $55,400 - $77,600 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
