Contracts Manager

About the role

WCS Healthcare Partners, a leading retail company based in New York City, is seeking an experienced professional to join its legal and business operations team. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, supporting business growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, and retail partnerships.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, procurement, finance, and sales, to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and mitigate risk.
• Maintain contract templates.
• Implement and improve contract management processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping within contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract best practices and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal background preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of contract management experience, ideally within retail or consumer goods.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with contract management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Agiloft, or similar).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
