Contracts Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, SaaS/Commercial Contracts Manager to support a technology company serving K-12 school nutrition programs. This Long-term Contract position is fully remote, offering an initial part-time commitment of 15-20+ hours per week with the potential for increased hours over time. The person in this role will oversee the full contract lifecycle while helping maintain strong compliance and documentation standards across commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Manage agreements from initial intake through drafting, review, execution, and ongoing administration.
• Lead contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners while protecting business and compliance interests.
• Prepare, revise, and organize commercial contract documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
• Monitor contractual obligations, key dates, and approval requirements to support timely follow-through.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify terms, resolve contract issues, and streamline agreement workflows.
• Maintain complete contract records and related documentation in an organized and audit-ready manner.
• Support compliance activities by reviewing agreements for legal, business, and policy alignment.

Requirements

• At least 4-6+ years of experience managing commercial contracts in a detail-oriented business environment.
• Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contract types with limited oversight.
• Strong background in contract administration, documentation control, and lifecycle management.
• Experience interpreting contractual language and identifying potential business or compliance risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a careful and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing changing priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with standard contract management practices and document review processes.
