Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

  • Review and process customer contracts, amendments, renewals, and related documents.
  • Ensure agreements align with approved templates, policies, and fallback positions.
  • Support contract negotiations by redlining terms within established guardrails.
  • Drive timely contract execution to meet deal timelines and revenue targets.
  • Apply contract policies, approval requirements, and standard terms consistently.
  • Identify deviations, risks, or non-standard terms and escalate appropriately.
  • Partner with Legal and Contracts leadership to resolve issues within defined authority.
  • Ensure contracts are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Follow standardized contract intake, review, approval, and execution processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Meet defined SLAs and quality standards for contract processing.
  • Support peak volumes and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Use contract management and CRM tools to manage contract workflows and status.
  • Ensure contract data is accurate, complete, and properly stored.
  • Maintain documentation and records in accordance with operational standards.
  • Support adoption of new tools, templates, or processes as introduced.
  • Partner with Sales to clarify contract requirements, timelines, and next steps.
  • Cook with Legal, Finance, and Operations on contract execution needs.
  • Provide clear, professional communication to internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in contracts, operations, sales operations, legal operations, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracts and approval workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Able to apply policies consistently and exercise sound judgment within defined guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, Exposure to commercial models, Experience supporting Sales or revenue-generating teams.
