Contracts Manager

About the role

At Hach (www.hach.com), a Veralto company, we ensure water quality for people around the world. This position is part of the Contract Administration department and will be hybrid in one of the following locations: Loveland, CO; Glen Allen, VA; Wood Dale, IL or London, ON (Canada).

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, redline, negotiate, and manage a broad range of contracts and amendments.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to move agreements from intake through execution with speed and sound judgment.
• Identify contractual risks, recommend practical solutions, and escalate non-standard issues when needed.
• Manage multiple agreements simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Support continuous improvement of contract processes, templates, and reporting.
• Use contract tools and workflows to maintain clean records, visibility, and follow-through on obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees required.
• 4–5+ years of experience in business law with emphasis in contract drafting, negotiation, and review, or a related field.
• Experience reviewing, revising, negotiating, and summarizing commercial contracts, including customer and supplier agreements.
• Experience with contractual, indemnification, and insurance concepts, and with document tracking / contract lifecycle management systems.
