Contracts Manager
Location: Roseville, CA | Full-Time | Exempt | In-Person
About the Role
CORE is seeking a Contracts Manager to work with clients and subcontractors on mid to large-scale commercial construction projects. The Contracts Manager will draft and manage contracts and subcontracts for a wide range of institutional clients, including colleges, universities, K-12 districts, municipalities, healthcare systems, and more. This role involves completely managing the contracts process from issuance to receipt of fully executed agreements, understanding contract provisions, negotiating contracts as needed, and managing company risk while effectively communicating with the project team.
The Contracts Manager will also assist in new project setup, enter contract information into the accounting system, and provide additional administrative tasks and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Draft and manage contracts and subcontracts for commercial construction projects.
- Oversee the contracts process from issuance to fully executed agreements.
- Understand, interpret, and negotiate contract provisions.
- Manage company risk throughout the contracts process.
- Communicate effectively with the project team.
- Assist in new project setup and enter contract information into the accounting system.
- Provide administrative support and documentation as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience with contracts administration.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional degree preferred.
- Ability to write and execute subcontract agreements.
- Willingness to relocate to or near the Roseville office location.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and DocuSign.
- Experience with Viewpoint Software and ConsensusDocs is preferred.
- Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Pay
$125,000 – $175,000 annually.
