Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related legal environment.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, risk management, and construction contract administration.
- Experience supporting construction or renewable energy projects, including knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management platforms (e.g., Procore, DocuSign, or similar); experience with multi-state projects and union/non-union environments is a plus.
What You'll Do
- Lead the negotiation, review, and administration of EPC, subcontractor, supplier, and other commercial agreements.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Preconstruction to ensure contracts align with project and business objectives.
- Maintain contract templates, records, and version control while tracking key contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables.
- Advise project teams on contract interpretation, risk management, and compliance to proactively resolve contractual issues.
- Monitor legal and industry developments, develop contract best practices, and provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders.
