Responsibilities
- Cook up with internal departments to prepare responses to customer correspondence and closeout requests.
- Ensure all contract documents, deliverables, and funding information are accurately posted and updated.
- Track and report on outstanding closeout tasks monthly, highlighting any issues or delays to all assignees.
- Review outstanding closeout tasks and coordinate completion with assignees.
- Aid Contract Managers in initiating and executing closeout tasks, managing documentation, and ensuring timely routing for approvals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure disposition of government property documentation is tracked and posted.
- Analyze and resolve obstacles in contract closeout activities, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Create and maintain closeout process documents.
- Provide guidance and training for contracts and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a related field.
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
- Experience with government contracting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills to plan, organize, attention to detail, multi-task, prioritize, and execute assigned workload to meet multiple deadlines.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Essential Functions
- Work primarily in an office environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or contract negotiations.
