Contracts Administrator
Position Overview
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Contracts. This individual will have experience making enhancements and/or creating existing processes, procedures and templates, delivering internal training for key stakeholders, as needed, and supporting pre and post award actions.
Responsibilities
- Cradle to grave contracts administration including but not limited to preparing and negotiating nondisclosure agreements and teaming agreements;
- Negotiating, and finalizing Government contract agreements providing post award contract management and administration;
- Support and drive program management support that stays consistent with contract requirements and company goals;
- Understands mandatory flowdowns when it comes to FAR/DFAR and other agency clauses;
- Able to support multiple contracts and internal customers;
- Able to understand Government RFP requirements, advise management on potential risk;
- Negotiate and administer a high volume of contract actions;
- Effectively communicate issues and propose solutions to solving contractual challenges.
Requirements
- Support Supply Chain and Subcontracts as an advisor when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3 + years of experience in leading T&M, FFP, and cost reimbursable efforts related to: contracts proposal support, contract development, negotiation, and management, including identifying applicable prime contract flow down clauses and assisting with the creation of documentation and files.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to identify, communicate and mitigate risks in contractual language.
- Strategic understanding of how the contracts function contributes to program success through successful negotiation, strong customer relationships and proactive contract management.
- Familiar with the FAR and willing to research agency supplements, as appropriate.
- Proactive and puts effort to stay up to date on Federal Regulatory requirements.
- Good communications skills for internal, external customers.
- Familiar with negotiating NDAs and TAs.
- Organized, detail oriented, and demonstrates strong time management and critical thinking skills and able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to research issues and propose innovative alternatives to solving challenges.
- Excellent MS Word and MS Excel skills.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role is $86,100- $105,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
