About the role
This is a hybrid role reporting to our Itasca, IL or Norwalk, CT office. Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for the preparation, review and execution of documents, and the day-to-day oversight for all phases of the documentation process for Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc. (MHCA)’s Industrial Finance Division in accordance with MHCA’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare documents for MHCA’s Industrial Finance Division in accordance with MHCA’s policies and procedures in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform pre-funding reviews/audits of all documentation packages submitted by dealers, brokers, and MHCA’s marketing staff to satisfy credit approval requirements
- Work closely with dealers, brokers, and MHCA’s marketing staff to correct documentation deficiencies
- Monitor the document safekeeping process as well as day-to-day tracking of documentation by scanning all executed documents into the Documentation Repository
- Ensure timely electronic filing of Uniform Commercial Code financing statements to perfect MHCA’s security interest
- Follow up on the Docs and Funding Incomplete queues to ensure prompt resolution
- Occasionally contact insurance agents to obtain correct Certificates of Insurance per MHCA’s requirements
- Aid Senior Contract Administrators in processing Transfer and Assumptions, Residual Refinances as loans and leases, and other Amendments (VIN, Name, Payment Due Dates)
- Ensure documentation is in strict compliance with all state and federal mandates and coordinate with legal counsel regarding documentation issues
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business or Finance, or demonstrated capability in similar capacity in equivalent experience
- Five plus years related experience with Contract Administration of financial instruments (emphasis on equipment leasing a plus)
- Knowledge of governing laws within the United States
- Licensing and Certification: May be required for specific job assignments
- Tools and Equipment Used: Personal computer, phone, and other typical office equipment
- Physical Demands: Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment; light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.; ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person; body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
