About the Role
The Contracts Administrator will establish and oversee contractual relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors, and government entities. This includes proposal development to contract closeout, compliance with regulations, negotiating terms, and managing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, manage, and administer all contractual activities related to projects and ensure that technical and business assumptions, limitations, and conditions are included.
- Develop agreements covering statements of work (SOW), pricing, delivery schedules, and performance metrics.
- Analyze contract provisions to identify potential risks, summarize implications, and make recommended solutions.
- Create and modify contract language to capture and implement agreements with customers, partners, and subcontractors.
- Manage the review of proposals/offers from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable proposals.
- Interact closely with Contract Officers to assure requirements and needs are met.
- Provide oversight of Subcontracts and assure compliance.
- Manage creation and submission of CDRLs and SDRLs.
- Conduct performance evaluations of vendors regarding quality, cost efficiency, and timeliness.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as cost overruns, schedule delays, and non-compliance issues.
- Resolve contract disputes and claims through effective negotiation and communication.
- Interpret program contractual requirements and coordinate legal resource services.
- Provide advice regarding contractual rights, obligations, and other contractual matters, such as effective use of resources and legal issues.
- Manage the contractual activities for protection and utilization of Intellectual Property in fulfilling contractual obligations.

Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, business-related degree, or other equivalent industry work experience.
- A minimum of three years of experience with contract management or negotiation.
- 5+ years’ experience in federal government contracting requirements and procurement.
- Strong contract negotiation and analysis skills.
- Required experience with WAWF, FAR/DFAR.
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Work Environment
- Full-time position.
- May require sitting or standing and walking for long periods throughout the day.
