Responsibilities

  • Support start-to-finish administration of contracts.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and purchase orders, ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and prepare appropriate flow-down clauses.
  • Analyze RFPs and solicitations for compliance with applicable FAR, DFARS, and DoD procurement regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract files (hard copy and electronic) for audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, interacting with prime contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual terms, FAR, DFARS, export control requirements, deliverables, and compliance obligations throughout contract execution.
  • Work closely with program management, accounting, and supply chain teams to meet contract deliverables and reporting requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers on routine contract matters.
  • Coordinate customer visits to Karman Space & Defense.
  • Work with different levels of personnel within the organization to analyze and solidify overall contract strategy.
  • Report on the status of current contracts to management.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring they are accurately executed and satisfied.
  • Upload and download documentation into customer portals.
  • Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization.
  • Maintain customer reps and certs and NDA files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of contract administration or contract management experience required; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and various contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, and OTAs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple contracts.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to government contract requirements.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
