Contracts Administrator
Responsibilities
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of government and/or commercial contracts.
Makes sure performance meets original proposal requirements.
Analyzes costs and reviews documents to ensure compliance with company policies, government specifications, and master agreements.
Responds to inquiries about contract obligations and makes necessary revisions.
Initiates documentation to authorize work according to contractual specifications.
Participates in contract negotiations.
Requirements
BS or BA in Business Administration or equivalent.
4 – 7 years’ experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Must be able to work within a team and multitask.
Above average writing and verbal communication skills.
Excellent presence with people.
Good understanding of financial metrics and calculations.
US citizen due to DoD requirements.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of supply and services contract structure.
Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR terms and conditions.
Working knowledge of Truth-in-Negotiations-Act (TINA) principles.
Experience in customer negotiations and problem solving.
MBA, NCMA certification, and prior U.S. Government security clearance are a plus.
