Contractor Sales Representative (Minneapolis) - Tiling, Surface Preparation & Sealants Job
Sales & Demand Generation
Support the Territory Manager efforts selling the full product offering with an added focus on Tiling, Surface Preparation & Sealants for C&C business unit in the assigned region.
Create and execute Bostik Specifications program within the territory to generate down-channel demand.
Drive demand at the contractor and end-user level.
Support the execution strategy with product launches.
Maximize the value of national and regional demand creation initiatives like promotions through steady communication and metrics.
Support onboarding of new distribution partners.
Account Management & Customer Support
Manage and provide support for designated accounts in accordance with the territory plan.
Handle daily customer needs for samples, complaints, and general administration.
Maintain critical contacts, account details, and facilitate technical solutions for the customer.
Training, Technical Support & Product Demonstration
Provide training and technical advice for our products at onsite and offsite locations, including job sites.
Conduct product demonstrations in alignment with the Territory Manager's growth initiatives.
Support channel partners with value-added education and training.
Planning, Market Intelligence & Execution
Understand key trends in local markets, distributors, and DSRs.
Collaborate with the Territory Manager to build and execute designated elements of the annual Territory Plan.
Participate in the development and execution of annual Key Account Plans.
Provide ongoing information on industry advances, competitive intelligence, and product needs.
Meet timelines for all necessary territory updates (weekly and monthly).
Minimum Qualifications And Education Required
- 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business or related field preferred
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- A passion to roll up your sleeves and conduct engaging, hands-on product demonstrations
- Positive, resourceful, can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal, communication, listening, and organizational agility
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Able to travel 50% of the time
- Familiarity with selling through distribution preferred
