About the role
The Contractor In Charge (CIC) oversees all aspects of a construction project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project timelines and budgets
- Manage subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Resolve issues and conflicts on-site
- Prepare and present project progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Passing score on a background check
Skills
- Construction management software proficiency
- Project management tools such as Gantt charts
- Strong organizational and time management skills
