About the role
The Contractor In Charge (CIC) oversees all aspects of a construction project from start to finish, ensuring that the project meets the client’s requirements and adheres to all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project planning and execution
- Manage team of subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Communicate regularly with clients to maintain project progress and address concerns
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
