About the role

The Contractor In Charge (CIC) oversees all aspects of a construction project from start to finish, ensuring that the project meets the client’s requirements and adheres to all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project planning and execution
  • Manage team of subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Communicate regularly with clients to maintain project progress and address concerns
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
