About the role

The Contractor In Charge (CIC) oversees all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, budget constraints, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project execution from start to finish
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage team members and contractors to meet project goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor project costs and adjust as necessary
  • Prepare and present project progress reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction management
  • Proven ability to manage teams and projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
    • Pass a background check

    Skills

    • Construction management software proficiency (e.g., Procore, ArchiCAD)
    • Project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, resource allocation)
    • Leadership and team-building abilities
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

    Pay

    $X per hour, depending on experience

    Schedule

    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
