About the role

The Contractor In Charge (CIC) oversees all aspects of a construction project, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure project timelines are met
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to maintain project integrity
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients to address concerns and resolve issues
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Skills

    • Construction management software proficiency (e.g., Procore, ArchiCAD)
    • Project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Asana)
    • Leadership and team management
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

    Pay
