What You’ll Do
- Review incoming applications and screen resumes to identify candidates who align with role requirements and company culture.
- Schedule and conduct phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit before presenting them to hiring managers.
- Aid in hiring administration, including offer letter preparation, background check initiation, and new hire onboarding tasks.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition statuses within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide regular pipeline updates and status reports to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor.
- Build and maintain positive relationships throughout the hiring process.
- Support additional recruiting efforts as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 1–3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, in-house or agency.
- Experience sourcing candidates and managing full early-stage recruitment pipelines.
- Comfortable conducting structured phone screens and evaluating candidate fit.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience with Paylocity is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions at once.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, candidate-friendly approach.
- Self-starter who can work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with background check platforms and offer letter processing is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Contract Details
- Duraton: 3–4 months, with potential to extend based on business needs
- Schedule: Full-time hours during the contract period
- Location: Merriam, KS
- Reports To: Talent Acquisition Supervisor
