CONTRACT SUPPORT

Under direction of the Contract Manager, the Contract Support Analyst administers and implements provider agreements to ensure parties comply with terms and conditions. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Department and requires in-depth knowledge of provider contracting, including analysis and interpretation of fee schedules and contracts to assist with claim-payment and system-setup resolution. The position collaborates with various departments to resolve contract or claim disputes, audits contract builds, and maintains the system as agreements renew or new agreements are executed.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement provider agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Serve as the point of contact for the Contracting Department.
• Analyze and interpret fee schedules and provider contracts to assist with contract resolution related to claim payment and system setup.
• Collaborate with different departments to resolve contract and claim disputes.
• Audit contract builds and maintain the system as agreements renew or new agreements are executed.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent; Technical School, 1 year of college, or Bachelor’s Degree preferred (degree in business administration or health services is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, such as medical claims, contracting, and/or Provider Relations.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
• Experience working in both individual and team settings.
• Ability to work independently, provide status updates to management, and multitask while establishing priorities.
• Self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to execute projects in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with QNXT, Impact, or other claim processing applications is preferred.
