Responsibilities

  • Aid government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
  • Prepare for award and assist with administering various contracts and task orders.
  • Review solicitation packages for completeness.
  • Prepare Determination and Findings in accordance with the FAR.
  • Research and provide statistical data to contracting officers.
  • Research and prepare market research documentation.

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree with at least 24 hours of business credits.
  • At least eight (8) years of related working experience demonstrating the ability to meet the required duties and responsibilities.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with and ability to complete the duties listed above.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least eight (8) years of experience supporting the Federal Government in a contract-related field or assisting a Federal Government Contracting Officer as a contractor.
  • Former Federal Contracting Officer – Series 1102 (GS13 or above).
  • Previous Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) experience.
  • Previous Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG) Data Base experience.
