Contract Specialist I with Security Clearance

About the Role

Mayvin is seeking a Contract Specialist I to support our U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Procurement Division (PD). The contract specialist will support the USMS-PD in various government contract matters, liaising with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to undergo and pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews, assist with cradle-to-grave operations, manage order modifications, and handle close-outs
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)
• Assist government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions
• Review solicitation packages for completeness
• Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents that should be included in a solicitation package
