About the role
This role supports the client's end-to-end procurement contracting process, from planning through execution and vendor performance management, within a fast-paced, fully remote organization.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement agreements including technology, security, and data privacy contracts in alignment with client policy and risk tolerance
- Identify and mitigate contractual, legal, and commercial risks in partnership with Legal, Privacy, and Security teams
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve contract-related issues while maintaining strong business relationships
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements throughout the contracting lifecycle
- Manage agreements from intake through execution using contract management tools to drive efficiency and visibility
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, and business stakeholders to align contract strategy with organizational goals
Requirements
- 2 years of experience managing commercial contracts within Procurement, Sourcing, or a Commercial Legal environment
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with precision
- Working understanding of commercial contract law, data security, and privacy regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and provide sound business recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort engaging with senior-level stakeholders
- Proven success in a fully remote environment with strong self-management, responsiveness, and professionalism in virtual settings
- Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ironclad or a similar contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool
- Familiarity with a broad range of agreement types, including SaaS, Marketing, HR, Procurement, and Legal
- Openness to leveraging AI tools in day-to-day contract work
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Pay
$23–$41/hr on W2
Schedule
Contract through May 7, 2027, with potential to extend or convert
