CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Position Description You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the AIRCRAFT SUPPORT CONTRACTS DIVISION, MAJOR WEAPNS SYSTEMS AIRCRAFT SUPPORT CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be responsible for advanced procurement planning and negotiations for services, materials and major weapon systems programs and its components.You will serve as the principal contracting advisor to the various program managers providing expertise and guidance in conducting multi-million dollar contracts in support of major weapons systems.You will confer with contractors’ representatives when serious deficiencies are involved to resolve problems in connection with terms and provisions of contracts, termination agreements, negotiations, etc.You will be responsible for researching and analyzing procurement related special projects and data calls as prescribed by the Head, Aircraft Support Contracts Department.
