Contract Senior Analyst (Evergreen)

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Analyst to support marketing and fundraising clients by helping us build out reporting frameworks, deliver data-driven insights, and keep pace with the analytical needs of both internal and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track program performance and supporter behavior
• Reconcile data across platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Respond quickly and thoroughly to ad hoc analytical requests from internal and client teams

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in digital analytics, ideally within a nonprofit, advocacy, or agency environment, with demonstrated knowledge of fundraising programs and online revenue strategy
• Experienced in audience segmentation and reporting for email and SMS programs, including how list composition, engagement tiers, and send cadence affect performance metrics
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills and experience working with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar) to build clear, decision-ready dashboards and reports
• Experience with paid media reporting across channels (search, social, display) and can synthesize performance data into actionable recommendations; prior experience working with media teams or agency partners is a plus
• Comfortable reconciling data across multiple platforms and sources; know how to spot discrepancies and trend shifts, trace them back to their source, and communicate clearly about what the numbers do and don't say
• Able to deliver on a fast-moving queue of ad hoc requests without losing sight of longer-term reporting priorities
• Can take a step back to see the bigger implications of your analysis and translate those insights for both technical teammates and non-technical clients
• Thoughtful, organized teammate who isn't afraid to adapt to new situations, solve problems on the fly, and communicate proactively with those around you

Pay

The salary range for this position is $65-$85 per hour.

Schedule

We approach in-office working with a hybrid model. On-site presence is welcome for US staff who are within commuting distance of the NY or DC office. Managers retain discretion to require in-person attendance for folks on their discipline or client teams as necessary, including for those whose roles require them to be in person.
