About the role

We are seeking a Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts for a growing manufacturing operation. This individual will partner closely with the HR team to help manage 18+ open roles across multiple sites, primarily focused on hourly industrial positions.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for 10+ requisitions simultaneously, including assembly, machining, and maintenance roles.
• Post jobs, source candidates, and screen applicants via phone and virtual/in-person interviews.
• Conduct proactive outreach through phone, email, and text, making at least three contact attempts per candidate.
• Coordinate and support hiring events such as job fairs and local advertising efforts.
• Track candidate activity and recruiting metrics using ATS and Excel spreadsheets.
• Extend offers and support onboarding processes.
• Maintain organized flow logs and ensure timely updates to recruiting plans and strategies.
• Assist with additional HR projects such as document scanning, file organization, and administrative support as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a recruiting role.
• 1 year of experience working with MS Excel or a HRIS system.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Skills

• High volume, full cycle recruitment experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience using Indeed and Workday systems.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions independently.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills with a sense of urgency.
• Comfortable working independently and driving recruiting efforts.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong tracking habits.
• Able to quickly ramp up and support a team experiencing high hiring demand.

Work Environment

The position is 100% onsite, requiring 40 hours per week from 8 AM to 5 PM. The HR team consists of three people. The role involves contacting candidates via phone, email, and more. Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.

Schedule

This is a contract position based in Marengo, IL, with a schedule of 40 hours per week from 8 AM to 5 PM, fully onsite.
